That's Johnny's new room number. Although the number is a little ominus, the room is actually really nice. It's a corner room, so it's a little larger, and the bathroom is much bigger. I guess they finally figured out that Johnny deserves the rock star treatment. He's just glad to be out of ICU, and would not have been picky at all. I'm just glad to have a bed to sleep on. Julie is home with the kids this weekend, and I wasn't looking forward to two nights sleeping in a chair.
Other than the move, today was pretty uneventful. Nothing too weird with his counts or anything, and he seems to be feeling at least as good as yesterday (pre-nose bleed). No nose bleeds today, and he only threw up after drinking half of a Icee. It was DP flavor, so I can understand why it didn't stay down. He's getting pretty gun shy about eating anything since the last couple of times he tried he ended up getting sick. This is probably due to the chemo, but the doctors would like to see him eating something by mouth even though he is on TPN. We'll try some soup tomorrow.
Now I'm going to try out this couch/bed thing.

We check on you guys everyday and are so very happy that Johnny has again overcome this obstacle. What an amazing young man...I can't imagine the emotional stress that you and your family have continued to endure but with Johnny's strength I hope it makes it a little easier. All our love and get well soon Johnny.
